During this training, participants will explore terms, developmental challenges, and stigma as they relate to LGBTQIA+ youth. Specific risk behaviors and social determinants of health will be discussed, as well as, methods to reduce the risk of HIV infection rates. Challenges transgender persons face in accessing and engaging in affirming healthcare will be covered.
